Over 100 students from across the curriculum came together for the first ever AI Ethics Bowl in which students were presented with a hypothetical case study related to AI data center construction and asked to decide on the most ethical, responsible course of action. A second, smaller AI Ethics Bowl was held during the Celebration of Scholarship in late April. This event was made possible by a collaboration between the AI Advisory Council and the Sustainability Committee in response to survey data indicating student concern about the environmental impacts of AI.
